Takeoff was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 1994. His real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, but he goes by his stage name of Takeoff. He is of African-American descent. His musical influences come from a variety of places. He grew up listening to rap music, and he was heavily influenced by artists like 2Pac, 50 Cent, and Nas.

Takeoff played the drums as a child, and that led to him developing a love for music. He also began rapping at a young age, and he was determined to make it in the music industry. In 2008, he, Quavo, and Offset formed The Migos, originally called “The Polo Club”. The trio soon began making music together, and they quickly achieved success.

Takeoff’s career began to take off in 2013 when he and his group released their first mixtape. This mixtape, titled “Yung Rich Niggas/Nation”, was a huge success. It caught the attention of many in the rap industry, and it led to the group signing a record deal with 300 Entertainment, which was distributed by Atlantic Records.

Takeoff’s style is unique and very catchy. He is known for his fast-paced lyrics and his smooth flow. He is also a master of improvisation, which allows him to freestyle during live performances. This skill set has helped him become one of the most popular members of Migos. In addition to his work with Migos, Takeoff released a solo album, called “The Last Rocket”. The album was released in November 2018.

Since then, Migos has released three studio albums, “Culture”, Culture II” and “Culture III”. All of these albums were huge commercial successes, and they solidified Migos as one of the biggest rap groups in the world.

Takeoff, and the Migos, have won quite a few awards in their careers. They won the BET Hip-Hop Award for Best Featured Verse in 2017, and also won the same award in 2018. In addition, they won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography in 2018. In addition, The Migos rap group has won three American Music Awards.

It was reported that on November 1, 2022, Migos rapper Takeoff died suddenly in Houston after attending a private party for about 40 – 50 guests.
